Plurial Novilia and formwork specialist PERI 3D Construction are realizing France's first residential building to be constructed entirely on-site using 3D concrete printing technology. The project is named ViliaSprint².

The approach addresses a central challenge in social housing: cost pressure and skilled labor shortage. 3D concrete printing technology reduces waste, lowers labor time, and enables faster construction processes. Until now, this technology has remained a niche in Europe's residential new construction.

For developers and project developers, this pilot project is relevant: it demonstrates whether additive manufacturing becomes economically viable on a larger scale. The combination of financing expertise (Plurial as a housing company) and technology (PERI) suggests that scaling is approaching – not as an experiment, but as a production model for affordable housing.
