DZ Hyp has placed a green jumbo bond with a coupon of 3.25 percent on the capital market. The volume is over 1 billion euros – the cooperative bank does not disclose the exact amount. The bank uses the proceeds to finance sustainable real estate projects and buildings with high energy standards. The issuance shows that institutional investors are increasingly demanding green real estate financing, and conditions remain market-standard despite the high ESG component.
