The state-owned housing company Howoge is putting out a call for tenders to establish a corporate newsroom. The company is seeking a communications agency to establish a central editorial structure. Howoge manages around 77,000 apartments in Berlin and is one of Germany's largest municipal housing companies. This step demonstrates how municipal housing companies are professionalizing their external communications in light of housing policy debates. Other municipal housing companies could follow suit.
